Award Qualifications
In order to qualify for the 2019 SMU Cox Dallas 100™, a company had to meet the following requirements, per the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship:
- The company needed to be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership as of May 1st of this year. (The company could not be a subsidiary or division on a parent company.)
- The company needed to have at least three years of sales history, showing sales growth during that period.
- The company could not be a non-profit organization.
- The company had to be headquartered in the Dallas Metroplex area.
- The company had to have fiscal sales of more than $500,000, but less than $75 million, for the year 2016.
- The company had to have an upstanding character and credit report, as determined at the discretion of the Dallas 100™.
2019 Dallas 100 Entrepreneur Awards
The complete rankings of the 100 companies selected this year will be announced at the 2019 Dallas 100 Entrepreneur Awards that will be held on Thursday, November 21 at the Omni Dallas, starting at 6 p.m.
