He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Clemson University in 1990 and later obtained both Master’s and PsyD degrees from the Florida Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, Sullivan served as President of the South Carolina Psychological Association, excelling in various roles such as Federal Advocacy Coordinator for 17 years. An accomplished practitioner, educator, and researcher, he contributed significantly to combating malingering among college students, with published research in the Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology. Sullivan’s diverse career includes founding Lifeworks, LLC, a pioneering integrative care practice featured by the American Psychological Association Practice Organization in 2007.

    Currently serving as Chief Science Officer for ADoH Scientific, LLC, Sullivan is dedicated to advancing the applied science of affective determinants of health. As a TEDxCharleston speaker in 2017 and event emcee in 2019, he continues to contribute to the healthcare field with his expertise, embodying a rich legacy of leadership and innovation. Sullivan takes pride in his role as a father of four exceptional children and a husband to his supportive partner.
