The Additional Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (ALMB) program is a Medicare Savings Program that pays the Medicare Part B monthly premium for beneficiaries who meet its income test. It is also known as the Qualifying Individual (QI) program and, because it depends on annual funding, is generally operated on a first-come, first-served basis.
