Responsibilities 

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company and ensuring Bookkeeping is done on a timely basis
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting including presentations for the Board and preparation of minutes of the Board Meeting
  • Preparation of monthly budgets for managing working capital requirements
  • Managing India payroll including related compliances like Provident Fund, ESI, Labour Welfare Fund and Group Medical Insurance
  • Review of Tax Investment Proofs submitted by the employees and providing timely feedback in case of any discrepancies
  • Managing US payroll including benefit administration
  • Managing US Business Insurance related compliances
  • Keeping a check on Sales Commission and  Annual Bonuses of Employees 
  • Participating in due diligence and gathering information required by the Leadership
  • Responsible for Month end closing activities which will include Invoicing, Journals, Bank Reconciliation, Credit Card Reconciliation and monitoring project wise budget availability
  • Preparation of monthly reports like project/resource wise profitability, resource utilization into billable/non-billable efforts
  • Compliance with Indian Tax Laws like Filing of Monthly and Annual GST Returns, TDS Payments, TDS Returns, Advance Tax Computations
  • Account Receivable/Account  Payable Management
  • Liaison with the auditors for conducting Statutory Audit and filing of Income-Tax Return, Transfer Pricing Audit and ROC compliances
  • Liaison with external consultants for managing US tax compliances including filing of tax returns and also managing the cap table
  • Issuing Form 1099s to contractors
  • Capex Evaluation and suggesting alternatives to the Leadership with option having better ROI
  • Drafting and Review of Legal agreements for US and India geography based on business needs
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
  • Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Managing of routine office admin related tasks 

Qualifications 

  • Qualified CA with detailed knowledge of IGAAP and US GAAP
  • 5-10 years of similar experience in the Services Industry
  • Experience with Quickbooks and Tally Prime is mandatory
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
  • This Role will report to the Company CEO and will involve regular collaboration with the senior leadership
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word and GoogleDocs/Sheet
